An Abuja Pottery stoneware flagon with screw top in the Michael Cardew tradition, strap handle. Iron glazes with arched and straight line detail and pale blue ash glazes in the manner of Ladi Kwali. Associated wooden tap. No visible potters seal/marks. 35.5cm high. No obvious signs of any chips or cracks or of any restoration. The screw top works well and also shows no obvious signs of damage. The associated wooden tap currently doesn't turn and has a cork bung. (R) £300
