[Paul Jerrard]: 'The Floral Offering.', Jerrard [1851]. Large 8vo (18 X 26 cms), chromolithographic illustrated title-page, chromolithographic illustrated leaf of a rose, 'Contents' leaf printed in gold; 12 full page chromolithograph illustrations of flowers (one for each month) with corresponding leaves of text in gothic script in gold, plus similar leaf in gothich script in gold at end being contents page for 'Gems for the Drawing-Room' by Paul Jerrard. Large 8vo, contemporary half red morocco gilt (slightly worn), spine gilt in compartments, all edges gilt. Paul Jerrard was the publisher of a series of 19th Century gift books of the highest quality. A fine selection of plates of flowers, combining natural history with high victorian design. Scarce.
