(India) Photo album compiled, possibly by a British official, in the course of extensive travels in India from 1915 to 1919. A few photos of sights on the sea journey out to the East, then approximately 400 photos of India: street scenes, people, places, monuments, landscapes &c. Places represented include: Mysore, Serimgapatam, Madras, Andaman Islands, Burma, Dinapore, Benares, Delhi, Agra, Cawnpore, Jaipur, Darjeeling, Mhowgli, Mandhata, Dgar, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Khyber Pass, Srinagar, Kashmir, Islamabad. All labelled. Various sizes, mostly 5cms x 7 cms or 8cms x 10cms with some larger. Album size 23cms x 29cms. 48 leaves. Original cloth.
