WILLIAM TROUP OF LONDON: A George III mahogany cased bracket timepiece, the silvered arched dial with Roman numerated chapter ring, Arabic five minute markers, and verge false pendulum bob, pierced metal hands. The case with carry handle on a bell top, turned gilt brass finials, carved fretwork corners, raised on stepped base to ogee bracket feet a/f. The single fusee movement with verge escapement, scrolled foliate engraved backplate. 49cm high, 28cm wide, 18cm deep.
