Shirley Jones (b. 1934): 'The Same Sun', [Croydon : Shirley Jones 1978], limited edition set of nine etchings and poems by Shirley Jones, number 5 of 25 copies only, numbered and signed by Jones to limitation page, each of the nine etchings pencil signed, dated and numbered by the artist, etchings/leaves 44 x 35cm, states on limitation page "A set of 9 etchings and poems by Shirley Jones, the link theme being a version of the mandala symbol appearing in each image. The text was set in the Boldoni typeface and printed on a hand-press by J & N Morley of Kenley on mould-made paper by J Green of Kent. This edition limited to twenty-five copies of which this is number five", includes the poem "Siloh", about chapels in the Rhondda, [19] leaves, plain handmade paper wraps, housed loose as issued in in a hessian-covered solander box (worn) blind-stamped with the title and with a circle in gilt stamped to the upper cover.
