Robert & Caroline Southey: 'Robin Hood: a fragment. With other fragments and poems.', William Blackwood & Sons, 1847, 1st edition, contemporary calf gilt worn. This was one of the few collaborations between Robert Southey and his second wife Caroline Anne, née Bowles. The intention had been to compose a vast epic based on the legend of Robin Hood, but the project was cut short through Robert's illness, and only this fragment, published posthumously, was ever produced.
