A pair of Imperial German 7xL50 marine binoculars by Leitz, serial number 6870, together with black leather case stamped with matching number, crown and M. Provenance: Liberated by F. Budgen R.N. in Hamburg in 1945. He was with combined operations with a VHF unit landing at Aramonche following the 1st Army through Europe
