A late 17th/early 18th Century tortoiseshell and silver oval snuff box with stand away hinge. The top decorated with silver and Mother-of-Pearl scene depicting a dancing couple surrounded by mythical beasts in a temple setting. Slight lifting to decoration and surface scratching, 1.7cm x 8.5cm x 6.4cm
