PAIROJ KARNDEE Thai Contemporary Artist: Portrait in oranges, greys, reds and brown. The female figure with long wispy hair, red lips and dark eyes.. The artist has been influenced by the mysterious Apsaras - the celestial maidens of ancient Asian culture depicted in the galleries of Cambodia's Angkor Wat. His techniques painstakingly recreate the stone textures of those images with a time-consuming rendering of acrylic on linen canvas. His figures show a notable range of emotions.
