A late 17th / early 18th Century gilt metal Horizontal table clock with repeat and alarm button, square form case on bracket paw and wing form feet, four glass panels showing movement to each side, the top with engraved detailing around the circular silvered dial, the dial with outer Arabic track and inner Roman track, central floral engraved detailing, pierced gilt hands, the underside bell with door showing the pierced and engraved balance cock, the bell striking movement signed N. Reitig (?) of London, fish form hammers, 6.5cm tall x 8.3cm square. The piece is housed within a made to fit black leather case with glass to top for viewing and carry handle, dimensions 8cm tall x 10cm square.
