PAIROJ KARNDEE Thai Contemporary Artist: Portrait female in Angel form, titled " Calling the Host" the angel side on, blowing on a conch shell in a mountainous crevasse , green tonal skin, acrylic on canvas. The artist has been influenced by the mysterious Apsaras - the celestial maidens of ancient Asian culture depicted in the galleries of Cambodia's Angkor Wat. His techniques painstakingly recreate the stone textures of those images with a time-consuming rendering of acrylic on linen canvas. His figures show a notable range of emotions.
