Edward Bawden, 16 lithographs in colour (on 8 leaves recto and verso) from 'Life in an English Village', illustrated by Bawden with an essay by Noel Carrington, printed at the Curwen Press and published by Penguin Books, 1949, each illustration 9.5 x 15.5cm. These drawings of his home village, Great Bardfield, were made directly on to lithographic zinc plates by Bawden for this work
