Ganly as called for, original pictorial cloth, pictorial dust wrapper (by B. Ganly, worn with some part losses). Scarce juvenile fiction title by Edward Conor Marshall O'Brien (1880-1952), Irish arsitocrat, intellectual, naval architect and ship builder, and mountaineer. He was also owner and captain of one of the first boats to sail under the tri-colour of the Irish Free State. He was the first amateur Irish sailor to sail around the world, which he did in the Saoirse, a ship he designed himself
