EDWARD BRIAN SEAGO RBA ARWS RWS (1910-1974) (ARR) An oil on canvas titled 'The County Show', depicting figures and horses. James Bourlet label verso. The painting is featured in 'The County Scene' by John Masefield & Edward Seago, page 39. Sadly the painting had been painted over by Peter Seymour, in parts, including the signature bottom left. The painting was purchased by Mr Joseph Fairhurst of The Fairhurst Gallery, Norwich, direct from The Dutch House in Ludham in 1985. Comes with various paperwork including photographs and copy of The County Scene in hardback. Overall size 102cm x 127cm
