PAIROJ KARNDEE Thai Contemporary Artist: Female portrait, untitled side profile of Angel in clouds with crouched Angel on summit top to background, green tonal skin, acrylic on canvas. The artist has been influenced by the mysterious Apsaras - the celestial maidens of ancient Asian culture depicted in the galleries of Cambodia's Angkor Wat. His techniques painstakingly recreate the stone textures of those images with a time-consuming rendering of acrylic on linen canvas. His figures show a notable range of emotions.
