RICHES, HALESWORTH: A George III flame mahogany striking, chiming and repeating bracket clock, brass arched dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, strike / silent subsidiary dial, alarm wheel, date aperture and false pendulum window, blued steel hands, signed G. Riches Halesworth. The backplate with all-over scrolled foliate engraved design, pair of repeating pull-cords attached to pulleys on the backplate, verge escapement, six bells. The case of arched form with gilt brass carry handle and side frets, raised on brass ogee feet, with keys. 43cm high x 32cm wide x 20.5cm deep.
