The painting is not glazed so has been open to surface dust, dirt and looks a little yellow in places. There are some close up images of the damage already online which show the paint loss. Overall the paint looks a little dried out and with the yellowing, would assume it has been over a fire. The frame has some minor loss to the mould and a few cracks. There is an image online of the label verso. The painting has come from a local private house.
