An early 19th English School half length portrait of a black female waiting woman, facing sinister, wearing a European style bonnet and clothing of the age, a gold crucifix pendant around her neck and holding a blue and white plate of fruit. Oils on canvas, no signature apparent. Approx 33cm x 28cm. Re-lined and restored and set in a later frame
