BENEDICT CHUKWUKADIBIA ENWONWU M.B.E (Nigerian 1917-1994) A framed and glazed watercolour and gouache on paper, female figure walking on a woodland path with basket aloft. Signed bottom right and dated 1960. Obituary cut out verso. Original frame and tape to the back. Image size 75cm x 56cm, overall 85cm x 66.5cm. Provenance - The vendors father purchased the painting in the 1960's while working in Nigeria for an oil company and has been with the family since.
No obvious signs of damage to the paper or foxing. There is one paint blister (see image) No sign of colour fading. Minor knocks to the frame with small section missing to the top (see image)
