An Irvin gold Caterpillar Club Badge to Sgt T. Arnold, the badge comes complete with its Irvin Mappin and Webb Ltd box of issue and Certificate of Membership named to Sgt T. Arnold, included with this lot is a photograph of himself wearing his badge, also a photograph of himself with his mother, back stamped STALAG VIII B a notorious German P.O.W. camp and a newspaper cutting when Mr Arnold was 75, Sgt. T.Arnold was a Rear Gunner on a Wellington Mk/C S/No. 28839 in 40 Squadron based at Alconbury, he was shot down on the flight of 28th August 1941 over Mulheim, three of the crew including the pilot P.T.O. J.E. King were killed, Sgt Arnold spent the rest of the war as a P.O.W.
