PAIROJ KARNDEE Thai Contemporary Artist: Female portrait, titled " Watching " depicting a man in the shadows looking over to semi clad female, acrylic on canvas. The artist has been influenced by the mysterious Apsaras - the celestial maidens of ancient Asian culture depicted in the galleries of Cambodia's Angkor Wat. His techniques painstakingly recreate the stone textures of those images with a time-consuming rendering of acrylic on linen canvas. His figures show a notable range of emotions. Signed and dated, 2017, image size 89cm x 109cm
